⚙️ COMPLIANCE · SOC 2 EVIDENCE · VENDOR-NEUTRAL
Drata vs Secureframe vs Oneleet. Which collects SOC 2 evidence fastest?
All three pull evidence automatically from the systems you connect. The honest answer to "fastest" is the one with native connectors for your stack, and the least left to do by hand. Below: what each vendor says in its own words, what stays manual on every platform, and a 10-minute test you can run on your own tools.

What each vendor says in its own words
Quoted from each vendor's own SOC 2 or home page, checked October 5, 2026. Vendors change these often; check before you buy.
| Vendor | Evidence collection | Integrations stated | Speed claim | Bundled |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Drata | "Connects directly to your tech stack … to automatically collect and map evidence to SOC 2 controls." | No count on its SOC 2 page; check its integrations directory | "Be ready in weeks" | Ask what's included |
| Secureframe | "Automatic control testing via continuous configuration data collection from 150+ integrations." | 150+ | "SOC 2 Compliance in Weeks, Not Months" | "Condensing 200+ controls into 8 key steps" |
| Oneleet | "Gathers evidence and checks for security gaps" across cloud, code and team tools. | 110+ | "60% faster to audit-ready" | "Human pentests, code scanning, device management, and a dedicated vCISO. One platform, one flat fee." |

What stays manual on every platform
Automation covers the systems with connectors. These usually still take a person, whichever tool you pick.
- Policies. Templates help, but someone writes, adapts and approves them, and employees sign them.
- People steps. Security training, background checks and onboarding or offboarding records, unless your HR system connects.
- Vendor reviews. Collecting and reviewing your own vendors' security reports.
- Anything without a connector. In-house tools and niche SaaS mean screenshots, every audit cycle.
- The auditor's questions. The audit firm still samples, asks and follows up.
The clock no tool shortens
A Type I report checks your controls at a point in time. A Type II report covers a period, often 3 to 12 months, and no platform makes that window shorter. "SOC 2 in weeks" claims usually mean audit-ready or a Type I. If a customer asked for a Type II, plan for the observation window from day one. New to this? Do I need SOC 2?
The 10-minute test for your own stack
The fastest platform is the one that covers your systems. Here's how to find out before a demo.
- List the 8 to 10 systems your controls live in: cloud (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure), identity (Okta, Google Workspace, Entra), HR (Rippling, Gusto, BambooHR), device management, code (GitHub, GitLab), ticketing and logging.
- Open each vendor's integration directory and mark every system native or not.
- Count what's left. Every system without a native connector is manual evidence, every cycle. The lowest count usually wins on speed.
- Make the demo prove it: ask each rep to show evidence for your top three controls pulled live from your actual stack.
- Ask what's bundled. A pentest, device management and the auditor are separate purchases on some plans, and each separate vendor adds weeks.
Rule of thumb: already have a pentest vendor and device management? Compare connector coverage across all three. Starting from zero on security tooling? An all-in-one like Oneleet's bundle saves the procurement time.

Questions
Which SOC 2 tool automates evidence collection the fastest?
All three collect evidence automatically from connected systems. The fastest for you is the one with native connectors for every system your controls live in, because anything without a connector stays manual. Run the 10-minute test on this page against each vendor's integration directory.
How many integrations do Drata, Secureframe and Oneleet have?
On their own pages, Secureframe says 150+ integrations for continuous control testing and Oneleet says 110+. Drata's SOC 2 page gives no count; check its integrations directory.
Can you really get SOC 2 in weeks?
Audit-ready or a Type I report in weeks is a common vendor claim. A Type II report covers an observation period, often 3 to 12 months, and no platform shortens that window.
Does Oneleet include a penetration test?
Yes, per Oneleet: human pentests, code scanning, device management and a dedicated vCISO, with audit support, in one platform for one flat fee.
