01Why this matters

1. Reddit user asks a real question (HVAC repair vs replace, Semrush alternatives, "is this listing overpriced?") 2. news_radar.py scores it against SideGuy's keyword catalog 3. PJ reviews the daily queue and picks 2-3 high-fit signals 4. Each chosen signal becomes a real SideGuy page — usually a Decision Tree, Comparison, or Listing Read 5. The new page is built once, ranks forever, and gets cross-linked into the cluster engine 6. Optionally: comment back on the original Reddit thread with a link (only if it's truly the best answer — never spam)

2026-05-01 — added 8 Reddit subreddit RSS feeds to tools/news_radar.py to make Reddit a first-class SideGuy signal source. Doctrine: "Reddit exposes demand, SideGuy owns resolution." Daily signal queue at data/reddit-signals/queue-YYYY-MM-DD.md. Not parasite SEO — real demand detection feeding the SideGuy page factory.
