Project Executive Software — Built for Construction Ops in North County San Diego

I'm PJ, based in Encinitas. I build custom software for Project Executives who are tired of duct-taping Procore, Excel, and email together to run multiple jobs at once.

What I Hear from Project Executives

You're running 4–12 active jobs. Your PMs each have their own way of tracking things. Your owners want real-time reporting. Your CFO wants forecasts that actually match the field. And Procore alone doesn't cut it because it wasn't built for the way your company operates.

Stop exporting to Excel every Friday

If your weekly ops meeting runs on a spreadsheet someone hand-builds, that's 6–10 hours a week you're burning. I automate the export and build the dashboard once.

Roll-up reporting across all jobs

One screen: backlog, committed cost, projected final, schedule variance, RFI aging, change order status. Per PM, per job, per client. Filterable.

Field-to-office without the friction

Superintendents hate typing. I build mobile-first capture tools — photo, voice, dropdown, done. Data lands where your PMs and accounting need it.

Forecast vs. actual that your CFO trusts

Tie Sage or Foundation cost data to live field progress. Catch overruns in week 3, not month 3 when the PM finally updates the projection.

Subcontractor + vendor compliance

Insurance expiration, prequal status, safety incidents — automated tracking so your ops team stops chasing COIs the day before a job starts.

Owner reporting that sells the next job

Branded, clean, weekly. Photos, schedule, budget. Automated from your real data. Owners see you as the pro — and they refer.

Questions Project Executives Actually Ask Me

Can you build something that works alongside Procore without replacing it?

Yes. Procore is strong at project-level work, weak at portfolio roll-up and custom workflows. I pull data via their API and build the layer on top that your company actually needs.

How long before I see something working?

First working version in 2–3 weeks for most builds. You don't wait a quarter to see if it was worth it.

What does a custom tool cost vs. buying another SaaS seat?

Depends on scope. Most of my construction ops builds land between $4k–$18k one-time, no monthly seat licenses. Text me what you're trying to solve and I'll give you a real range.

I'm not technical. Can I actually run this after you build it?

Yes. I build for operators, not engineers. If your PMs can use Procore, they can use what I build. I also stay on call for tweaks.

Do you work with GCs only, or subs too?

Both. GCs, specialty contractors, design-build firms. The workflow is different but the pattern — too many tools, not enough visibility — is the same.

Are you local? Can we meet?

I'm in Encinitas. Happy to meet anywhere from Oceanside to Del Mar, or jump on a call. Most of my clients I've never met in person — we just text and ship.

Quick note from PJ

I'm a solo shop. No sales team, no account manager, no handoff. You text me, I reply. If I can't help, I'll tell you who can. That's the deal.
