Coastal San Diego attracts a lot of people. Vaka is one of the ones who belongs here. The North County scene is better for having him in it.
Kenos was a bar and restaurant that stood for something. The kind of place where the people who worked there weren't just staff — they were the culture. Vaka was part of that culture. When something real ends, the people from it carry it forward.
