How the trip works
Coaster south from Encinitas to Old Town, then the MTS Green Line east to SDSU station (about 23 minutes by the schedule), on the San Diego State campus. Viejas Arena is about 0.2 miles from SDSU station in a straight line (OpenStreetMap). The Open Air Theatre is also on the SDSU campus. From NCTD: parking is free at most COASTER stations and a COASTER Regional Pass includes a free transfer to the MTS trolley.
