What it costs, on time vs late

Pay it the safe way

  • e-check on the County site: free, with the routing and account numbers from your checks, credited the day you pay.
  • Your bank's bill pay: can take 5 to 10 business days to arrive, and it only counts when the County receives it. Schedule it early.
  • Credit card: online or by phone at (855) 829-3773, with a 2.19% fee.
  • By mail: postmarked on or before the late date.
  • Missed it for a real reason? The County has a process to request a penalty cancellation.
  • Check the upper-right corner first: no $7,000 "Homeowners'" line? File by Dec 10 for 80% this year.
  • Skip both installments past June 30 and the taxes default, with interest of 1.5% a month (18% a year).
